Houston County Deputy McKinney was patrolling US 231 South of Dothan when clocked a passenger car traveling North bound at a high rate of speed. Deputy McKinney turned around on the vehicle and the pursuit was on. The pursuit went down Smithville road to Iris Road and ended at a house on Cecil Varnum. Other deputies and a Cottonwood unit responded to back up Deputy McKinney. The driver and Passenger were both arrested and taken to the Houston County Jail.
