On Feb. 6, 2013 area residents are going to show their support for their favorite nonprofit during Houston County Gives Day. On that day, every donation will help us further the important work of our organizations.
What is Houston County Gives Day? It is one extraordinary day to support the organizations that make Houston County special. All 18 participating nonprofits will set up booths at Eagle Eye Outfitters, located at 3736 Ross Clark Circle in Dothan, on February 6th from 11 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. to answer questions donors may have. Houston County Gives Day is a 24-hour event that starts at midnight on February 5th and concludes at 11:59 p.m. on February 6th. Through the combined marketing efforts of the media and the 18 participating nonprofits, donors will be directed to, www.HoustonCountyGives.com. Donors can then choose the nonprofits they wish to support and make a donation. Visit www.HoustonCountyGives.com and give to agencies that make a difference right here in our local communities.
