Houston County Is In Foot Pursuit

DOTHAN:  A Houston County Deputy working security at the mall is reported to be in a foot pursuit of a theft suspect. Dothan Police are also rolling that way to assist the deputy. This is not unusual to have someone try to steal something from one of the large stores in the mall, however before you do try think about the the idea of going to jail. Deputies always get their suspects.

The foot chase went from the mall past the Firestone Store, across Ross Clark Circle, behind China Star Restaurant and on Sullivan Drive.  A suspect was apprehended and taken into custody.
