Houston County Prayer Event
Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, highlights the central nature of prayer as an essential strategy for people of faith. Prayer is powerful and brings to bear the resources of God in His response to our circumstances and situations. America, and Alabama, needs revival! Historically, every great spiritual awakening has started with prayer. Praying Across Alabama is a prayer for spiritual awakening among Alabama Baptists and other like-minded people who believe that a life-changing experience with Jesus Christ is the only adequate foundation for life or a nation.
Join your fellow church members, leaders of the Columbia Baptist Association and State Missionary Dale Huff for a time of prayer. We will meet on the steps of the Houston County Courthouse in Dothan, Thursday, March 21 for approximately 30 minutes starting at 10:00 a.m.
PLEASE NOTE:
The brochure reads meet at the Houston County Courthouse. However, it is my understanding the gathering is at the Dothan Civic Center. I am not sure if it is at the Houston County Courthouse or Dothan Civic Center. Arrive early at either, if no one out front then go to the other location.
PLEASE BE AWARE...this is not a protest of anything. It is a specific time set aside statewide to pray for our leaders across the nation. Leaders from muncipalities, counties, states and the nation. ALL municipalities, counties, state government and our Nation.
There is no agenda for the prayer service being held at the Dothan Civic Center or Houston County Courthouse. The prayer service is being held in all counties across the state.
I think it will be at the Dothan Civic Center so that is where I would go first.
