HOUSTON COUNTY: On Tuesday, March 1, the registered voters in Houston County will go to the polls to select a School Superintendent.
This election excludes the registered voters in the corporate city limits of Dothan. It is only for the persons living outside the corporate city limits of Dothan. All other municipalities in Houston County, Kinsey, Webb, Columbia, Gordon, Ashford, Cowarts, Cottonwood, Madrid, Rehobeth, Taylor, and all other areas of Houston County will vote on this office.
The current Superintendent will retire. He was going to retire in April but I understand he is going to delay that retirement.
Only two people are seeking that office, David Sewell and Matt Swann.
Both are assigned in management at the main office of the Houston County School System. Both bring different taleants to the table for the people of Houston County.
Both Sewell and Swann would make a great Superintendent for the people of Houston County.
Go vote on March 1. Polls open at 7 AM and close at 7 PM.
