Houston County Sheriff's Arrest Teacher On Drugs Charges

On May29, 2010 the Houston County Sheriff's Office charged Jason Allen Andrews a 32 year old male of Dothan, Al. with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) and (alprazolam / xanex) with a bond at $2,500.00 on each, one count of Unlawful Possession of Precursor Chemicals with a bond of $15,000.00 and one count of Possession of Moonshine with a bond of $300.00.
The Houston County Sheriff's Office was conducting an investigation that led to a traffic stop at the intersection of Randall Rd. and Denton Rd. Dothan, Al. of Jason Allen Andrews which led to the recovery of the methamphetamine and the xanex as well as the precursor chemicals and the moonshine from his residence 1400 block of Northfield Circle Dothan, Al.
The Houston County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Alabama Alcoholic Control Board (
