Houston County Sheriff's Office Issues Press Release on an Establishment Serving Alcohol without License

Press Release

On February 5, 2010 at approximately 2350 hrs., the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Alabama Alcohol Beverage Control and the Dothan Police Department conducted an operation on the 200 block of Lewis Rd. Pansey, AL after receiving information that a produce stand had been turned into an establishment that was serving alcohol without a license.

                The Houston County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on 255 Lewis Rd. Pansey, AL and recovered approximately $600.00 worth of alcohol and charged 11 people at the scene.

1)      Kelvin Anderson – 31yoa Male - Gordan, AL

2)      Henry Anderson - 38yoa Male – Gordan, AL

3)      Tracey Allen – 35yoa Female – Headland, AL

Were Charged with Possession of Alcohol for sale without a License with a bond set at $500.00 each.

4)      Timothy Wesley – 20yoa Male – Ashford, AL

5)      Joshua Baxter – 19yoa Male – Gordan, AL

6)      Jerome Scott – 20yoa Male – Gordan, AL

Were Charged with Minor in Possession of Alcohol (by consumption) with a bond set at $500.00 each.

Four juveniles under the age of 18 were also charged with Minor in Possession of Alcohol (by consumption), Juvenile petitions will be obtained.

7)      Laquentin Knight – 19yoa Male – Gordan, AL

Was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Operations with a bond set at $500.00.
