Houston County Vice Unit makes Another Drug Arrest

On September 30, 2016, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, during an ongoing Investigation, recovered approximately 75 grams of Methamphetamine and Alprozolam AKA Xanax.
Darlene Halks, a 55 year old female of Ashford, AL was charged with Drug Trafficking and Possession of of Synthetic Narcotics. Halks was on Probation for a prior Trafficking charge at the time of arrest. Halks’ bonds totaled $510,000.00.
