My friend, Ms. Merlene, passed away on Sunday.

Ms. Merlene with Pizza Hut Southside for 30 years. Following Ms. Merlene's tenure her daughter Linda took over the reigns of Piuzza Hut.

For several decades I have eaten at Pizza Hut Southside. Every Monday for many years Don and Laura McMullan and myself ate lunch at Pizza Hut.

We have become good friends over the years.

Ms. Merlene was a gracious lady. She helped me aggravate her daughter Linda.

My life is better from having had the honor and privilege of knowing Ms. Merlene.
