HOUSTON COUNTY:  Twentieth Judicial Circuit Judge Mike Conaway has entered an court order in the case of Luther Strange ( State of Alabama ) vs. $ 283,657.68 ( Center Stage ).

Judge Conaway said “I shall not enter an order of recusal”.

Judge Conaway pens in his order “If I err…I err on the side of truth, and the truth is that no one has ever attempted to influence me on the issues outlined in this case and I have neither expressed nor harbor any bias, hostility or prejudice.”.

Judge Conaway further pens “ Finally, let me put one thing to rest, while I served the good people of this State by appointment. I perform my judicial functions with diligence, determination and dedication. I am always mindful of my oath of office and the responsibility I have to the law and the citizens of the state. My record of judicial service speaks for itself and stands up to scrutiny. All pending motions to be heard on September 26, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.

With the order entered, further court actions are forthcoming and appeals are expected..
