MONTGOMERY: Newly adopted impeachment procedures state the impeachment committee can meet outside the legislative session. THANKFULLY the currently legislative session ends in two days.
Alabama State Representative Ed Henry, a fellow Republican from Hartselle Alabama, states he has the 23 signatures required for the impeachment to continue.
The new Henry impeachment articles focus around willful neglect of duty and corruption of office by Robert Bentley. Henry believes there is probable cause for them to continue to investigate whether or not there has been willful neglect of duty or corruption of office.
The committee is not expected to meet until the legislative session is over, which again is two days.
