GRAND RIDGE FL:  Several days ago, about a week ago, there was a train derailment in Grand Ridge Florida. Since the rerailment the train officials have been working to clean up the derailment site.

Today they are moving some chemicals that had spilled. They DO NOT anticipate any problems or issues, but have told people that live within about a mile area they might want to be gone from home during the next couple of hours. It is a pre-cautionary advisement. They DO NOT anticipate any problems or issues, just playing on the side of caution.

There HAS NOT been a new train derailment in Grand Ridge. Just clean up of old one.

I spoke directly with Jackson County Sheriff Lou Roberts concerning this matter.
