In Refernce to the Fire Burn Ban

HOUSTON COUNTY: Ok I have spoken to the State Forestry Head Man.. Despite the information first given to us their is NO BURN BAN in Houston County as of yet only a FIRE ALERT and Forestry will not be issuing any burn permits.... Due to all the Fires since Friday there could be one fourth coming... AGAIN... There is no BURN BAN in Houston County only a FIRE ALERT...


The city of Dothan did issue a burn ban in the city limits of Dothan...


In Houston County we would ask that you not burn if possible.. the county is a tender box just waiting for a fire to start....
