Instructions To My Staff This Afternoon

HOUSTON COUNTY:  Have you ever been way behind. My office looks like Hurricane Rickey has struck.

No matter how early I arrive or how late I remain, I can not get caught up. On New Year’s Eve I tried and was interrupted. On Saturday’s I have tried and made no head way. This past weekend I carried boxes to the lake but did not touch them. On Thanksgiving when Spencer and I went to Gainsville I hauled files and my computer from desk and made no dent.

This afternoon my plans were to work on this mess. About the time I started the Burglary call and Matt was busy on a interview.

I am going to try this afternoon. I put the sign on my door and today through Friday my goal is to get caught up and ahead. Between news, bonding, investigation and personal, a lot of issues people want me to look at, just not enough time. I am going to try but as you can see, everything is everywhere...

And I have to work to close out 2012 and begin what is already here...2013!
