Jackson County Drug Task Force

On Wednesday, December 12, 2012, the Jackson County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence of Patrick Jerome Long on Ditty Road near Bascom, Florida. The search warrant came as a result of an investigation into Long’s marijuana distribution enterprise.

 

During the course of the search of Long’s residence approximatley 3 pounds of marijuana were located along with plastic packaging material and digital scales commonly associated with the repackaging of marijuana for distribution. A small sum of currency was also located at the residence and it too was seized as proceeds of illegal drug sales.

 

Patrick Jerome Long was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Long was transported to and housed in the Jackson County Jail to await First Appearance on his charges.
