Jackson County Drug Task Force and Sneeds Police Make Three Arrest

On Friday, October 26, 2012, Sneads Police Department in conjunction with the Jackson County Drug Task Force concluded two separate ongoing investigations into the Sale of Marijuana and Methamphetamine in and near Sneads, Florida.

An arrest warrant was obtained on Henry Johnson for the Sale of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine. A search warrant was applied for and obtained for Johnson’s residence located on Homefront Road south of Sneads, Florida. On the afternoon of October 26, 2012, Johnson was located and placed under arrest and the search warrant for his residence was executed. During a search of the residence approximatley 6 grams of finished Methamphetamine was located along with (6) plastic soda bottles containing Methamphetamine oil. Items were located at Johnson’s residence that is consistent with manufacturing Methamphetamine including the remnants of completed one pot or “Shake and Bake” Methamphetamine labs and drug paraphernalia associated with the use of Methamphetamine and Marijuana. Johnson is a convicted felon and was found to be in possession of ammunition. Johnson was arrested on the active warrant for Sale of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine and additionally charged with Manufacture of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Johnson was transported to and housed in the Jackson County Jail to await First Appearance on his charges.

During the execution of the search warrant at Johnson’s residence, Jackie Conover Wilkinson, came to Johnson’s residence. Through further investigation it was determined that Wilkinson had came to Johnson’s residence on that day with the intention of purchasing a quantity of Methamphetamine from Johnson. Wilkinson was placed under arrest for Attempted Purchase of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine. She was transported to and housed in the Jackson County Jail to await First Appearance on her charge.

In a separate investigation, arrest warrants were obtained on Jamar Ram’on White on two counts of the Sale of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana. On the afternoon of Friday, October 26, 2012, a search warrant was executed on White’s residence located on McKeown Mill Road, Sneads, Florida. During the search warrant a small amount of currency and a Nissan Titan pickup were seized. White was transported to and housed in the Jackson County Jail to await First Appearance on his charges.
