On Wednesday, January 16, 2012 the Jackson County Drug Task Force arrested 5 individuals during a street enforcement operation for multiple charges including Violation of State Probation, Driving While License Suspended, Possession of Listed Chemicals and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

During one instance, Investigators conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 71 south near the Interstate 10 interchange. During the course of that traffic stop, the passenger of that vehicle, Aurora Deotono Cutchins (Cervantes) of Alford, Florida was discovered to have absconded from her Drug Offender Probation and was wanted. Cutchins was placed under arrest on an active warrant for Violation of State Probation.

During a second traffic stop on Hope School Road near Marianna, Florida 4 individuals were placed under arrest on various charges. The traffic stop came as a result of an expired license plate on a 2007 GMC Yukon. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Cecelia M. Corbin of Alford, Florida. Corbin’s drivers license were also determined to be suspended. A Jackson County Sheriff’s Office canine was deployed on the vehicle for an open-air sniff for the odor of narcotics. The canine alerted to the odor of narcotics emitting from the vehicle and a subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted. During that search chemicals utilized to manufacture methamphetamine and hypodermic needles were located. During the investigation it was determined that Randy Dwayne Morris and Robert Dewayne Clements both of Alford, Florida, and both passengers in the vehicle possessed listed chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine. The fourth individual in the vehicle, Jessica Marie Lent was in possession of hypodermic needles used to intravenously inject methamphetamine. Corbin was placed under arrest for Driving While License
