Jackson County Fl Accident Involving A Tractor

JACKSON COUNTY FL:   On Wednesday in Jackson County Florida on Highway 71 a man was traveling on his tractor. The 62 year old retired man was working.

While he was driving down the road a vehicle was behind him. The second vehicle decided they were going to slow and went to pass the vehicle. Apparently they did not realize the tractor was in front of the vehicle.

As the vehicle passed and approached the tractor a wreck then happened between the tractor and the vehicle. The driver of the tractor was thrown from the tractor. The vehicle flipped. Several injuries.

BEWARE as you travel about tractors on the roads. Farmers are the backbone to what we eat. In this particular case the man on the tractor was going to bushhog and take care of land.

He suffered extensive but non life threatening injuries.
