Jackson County Sheriff's Made Arrest for Drug Paraphernalia

On June 19, 2012 the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division conducted a traffic stop on a 1999 Ford F-150 on Hwy 77 at the intersection of Satellite Road for Careless Driving. The driver of the vehicle denied consent to search the vehicle. K9 Toby was deployed to conduct a free air sniff of the vehicle. K9 Toby alerted on the vehicle indicating the odor of narcotics emitting from the vehicle.
Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle and found Methamphetamine and several items of paraphernalia located in a glass case in the glove compartment. The driver of the truck was placed under arrest and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance
