The newly formed Abbeville Boys & Girls Club plans to open in July! Work is underway to get the building which will house the Boys & Girls Club ready for the summer activities. The new club formed under the oversight of the Lake Eufaula Boys & Girls Club will be located in the Abbeville Middle School on Gilliam Street.

The Boys & Girls Club will be seeking applicants for the center Director.  The Director will supervise the operations of the Abbeville Center and part time employees. The position will work thirty hours per week. Salary is negotiable depending on experience with an expected salary of approximately $22,000 plus medical benefits and retirement. Persons interested in this position must demonstrate leadership capabilities, management experience, have a heart for youth, and be highly organized. Previous experience in Boys & Girls Club is a plus as well as previous fund raising experience.  Applicants will be required to go through a training period.
