Johnny Mack Brown Exhibit at Landmark Park

Starting September 1st through November 1st Landmark Park will have on display a variety of unique items from our Johnny Mack Brown Collection, including movie posters, costumes, comic books, photographs and more.

Brown was born in Dothan, and attended Dothan High School. He was a star athlete and was “discovered” while playing football for the University of Alabama. He became a leading man in Hollywood, staring in over 165 films. He even had his own comic book series and radio program.

On Sunday, September 6th there will be a special showing of one of his films at 2:30p.m. The film is free with admission to the park. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for children, and free for children ages 2 and under. Park members are admitted free.
