Judge Revokes Split Sentence And Sends Dothan Dothan Man To Prison

HOUSTON COUNTY:   Twentieth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Kevin Moulton revoked a Dothan man's work release.


Dickerson was charged with Impersonating A Police Officer and Third Degree Robbery recently by Houston County Sheriff Department. The felony charges came while Dickerson was serving time in Houston County Community Corrections on other offenses.


Dickerson was serving a two year split sentence in Houston County Community Corrections on five felonies. When the new felonies were lodged, Houston County Community Corrections immediately placed Dickerson in the Houston County Jail.


Today Judge Kevin Moulton revoked the split sentence and ordered Dickerson to serve 81 months. He still faces the robbery 3rd and Impersonation of A Police Officer. That charge comes from Dickerson alleged to have gone to Coggins Trailer Park. Dickerson is alleged to have told a person he was an Immigration and Customs Officers, handcuffed the man, and took his wallet and passport.


Houston County Sheriff Department investigated and arrested Dickerson on those charges.


Dickerson has gotten addicted to prescription medicine and that has destroyed his life.
