Judson Buchanan Paralyzed In Skydiving Accident

A Rehobeth High School graduate, Judson Buchanan had made 128 successful skydiving jumps.
However on October 18th Judson was skydiving and landed to hard in Blountstown Florida. That landing resulted in a spinal cord injury.
Judson was airlifted to a Panama City hospital where he underwent immediate surgery. Following the surgery Judson had several more surgeries in the next 10 days. Judson was paralyzed.
Judson has been diagnosed as paraplegia. That is the lower part of is body is paralyzed.
After 10 days Judson was transferred to inpatient rehabilitation. He will remain there until sometime in December. After inpatient rehabilitation he will them move to outpatient rehab at home for a undetermined amount of time.
Judson has a very positive attitude. He is an inspiration in his attitude in going from a 21 year old who wakeboards, skydives and active in life, to one of being paralyzed.
Judson Buchanan and Mason Cole Battles recently entered guilty pleas to a incident at Hardridge Creek in Henry County. The plea was in Federal Court in Montgomery.
Sentencing is set for January 27.
