June 10 - Shooting Investigation Update

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate a shooting that injured four
people outside an apartment complex on Lakeview Drive near Fort Walton Beach early Thursday morning, June 9th.


21 -year old Aaron Martinez of Niceville, 21-year old Justin Redick of Fort Walton Beach, and a
16-year old female from Fort Walton Beach, were hit by bullets but none of their injuries were lifethreatening.

The 16-year old was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center by ambulance. Martinez and
Redick showed up at the hospital later. Investigators also learned a 17-year old female from Fort Walton Beach was grazed by a bullet during the shooting, but elected not to seek medical attention.
