Kinsey Shooting Victim Identified

KINSEY:   Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes has identified the gunshot victim from Kinsey.

Sheriff Hughes said 32 year old Bethany Ann Burgess of York Drive is the victim of the shooting. She is in SAMC beinn treated for the gunshot injuries. They are reported as non life threatening injuries.

Sheriff Hughes said Burgess will be arrested for burglary. Evidence was recovered that Burgess is reported to have thrown from the vehicle following the burglary that ties directly to the burglary. Sheriff Investigators had been looking for Burgess prior to Tuesday's incident to question about burglaries.

Sheriff Hughes said Houston County Sheriff Department is investigating the burglary while ABI is investigating the officer related shooting.
