Lake Eufaula Dangerously Low With No Real Significant Reasons Given

LAKE EUFAULA:    The water at Lake Eufaula is awful. It is extremely low and at dangerous levels.

This past Saturday we went to the Friends Of Lake Eufaula Meeting in Eufaula. We were able to hear the reasoning given  by the head man in charge of the Eufaula U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. This weekend you will hear what he had to tell us.

I am still not satisfied with his answers. That video is being forwarded to Representative Martha Roby and U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions. Something needs to be done on the water levels of the lake. There is no viable excuse for the levels to be at the dangerous levels they are.

It seems that every holiday weekend the levels of the lake are dangerously low. It seems there is a determined effort to kill the recreational aspects of the lake.

Lake Eufaula is a great place. We enjoy going to the lake. Many enjoy fishing.  However, because of the dangerously low levels of water maintained by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, the lake’s popularity is decreasing.

Watch for the video interview. Watch for what you can do to become active in Friends of Eufaula over the weekend.

Watch for your contacting you federal representatives to get some management in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers to keep the lake at a safe level for enjoyment.
