ALABAMA:   You know I am laughing right now at the Alabama Republican Party. In fact, I am rolling.

For the record I am for the person that can get things done not the party.

The Republican circles are all sqirming with the indictment of Mike Hubbard. They are furious with the Republican nominee for Attorney General, Luther Strange. And it is very possible the indictments are politics, and possible actual violations of criminal law.

The Speaker Mike Hubbard was the one who created the Republican take over in 2010. Hubbard was one of the leaders to kick District 29 Senator Harri Anne Smith from the Republican party. Her violation was the endorsement of Bobby Bright for U.S. House of Representatives. Bright, the former Mayor of Montgomery, was a great candidate.

Senator Smith had the backbone to do what was right for Alabama, not for a party.

Now Speaker Hubbard would like to endorse Joe Hubbard, not related, for Attorney General. While he is not excited about Joe Hubbard, he does not support Luther Strange.

However, Mike Hubbard has to follow the party lines - support Luther Strange. Only because he is a republican. If not, then Speaker Hubbard could face his own discipline, be kicked from the Republican Party.

Also Speaker Hubbard was very mouthy about corruption in politics four years ago. Only to find himself behind bars like those he was mouthy about four years ago.

One of those Hubbard worked to destroy was Senator Harri Anne Smith. The reason was, Senator Smith had a backbone to make decisions and did not follow Speaker Hubbard's commands.

Hubbard attempted to defeat Senator Smith four years ago with over $ 4 million dollars and Smith under indictment.

This time, Speaker Hubbard, Bob Riley and Del Marsh courted Houston County Commissioner Melinda McClendon to challenge Senator Harri Anne Smith. They wanted someone they could control and would do what Hubbard/Riley and Marsh demanded. 

Melinda McClendon was that person. Her first campaign money was from the Riley/Hubbard/Marsh wallets called 2014 PAC. They have given her a lot of money. In the indictment of Speaker Hubbard, Abbeville's Jimmy Rane is named as one who gave Hubbard $ 150,000.00. 

Guess what? One of the first fund raisers locally, was hosted by none other than Jimmy Rane's son in law!!! Draw the conclusion and connect the dots.

McClendon was the political puppet of Mike Hubbard, Bob Riley and Del Marsh. The same Jimmy Rane connected to Hubbard's indictment money is the same connection to Melinda McClendon's fund raiser. The same Mike Hubbard, Bob Riley, Del Marsh mentioned in the indictment of Speaker Hubbard, are the same that has funded Melinda McClendon.

The conclusion... Hubbard set himself up he has no choice but to support Luther Strange. I doubt he will vote for Strange.

And the same person under indictment is Speaker Mike Hubbard is the same of the gang that solicited and funding of  Melinda McClendon against Harri Anne Smith.

And the reason is, Senator Smith supports the people in her district, not what the mob bosses of the Republican Party demand her to.
