MONTGOMERY:    With all of the major issues facing this state, Senate Pro Tem Del Marsh wanted to focus on media access to the Alabama Legislature.


This issue threatened to become one of the more contentious issues of the Legislature Organizational Meeting. The members of the Legislature decided to leave the issue untouched.


TO THE ALABAMA LEGISLATURE


You have been a failure. You have not moved this state forward and we are no better today than we were four years ago.


You have bigger issues to address that are important to the people of the State of Alabama. We need to you to be leaders and move the state forward. Get to work and move the state forward. Make the lives of the people better.
