Leon County Florida Deputies Ambushed Responding to Report of a House Fire

Leon County: According to the Tallahassee News Station: A shooting has been reported at the intersection of Fred George Rd. between Mission Rd. and Old Bainbridge Rd. in Tallahassee.


Leon County Sheriff's Office has reported that one deputy has been killed on the scene of the shooting in the Plantation Woods Subdivision. One suspect is also dead. At 10:15 this morning deputies were notified of a house fire.


The first responding deputy shot and killed. the suspect took the deputy's weapon and shot another deputy, who was wounded. More deputies arrived on scene and shot and killed the suspect. The names of the deputy and the suspect have not been released. Leon County Sheriff's Office says that the scene is still considered active.
