DOTHAN: Today Dothan lost a man that was very instrumental in the settling issues in Dothan. He was man who was quiet but noticeable, who worked to solve issues rather than divide.

Sometimes people look at the NAACP as a divisive group.  However with Lucky as the leader, it was seen in all communities as one to solve the problem.

Most Dothan Board of Education Meetings, Most Dothan City Commission Meetings, you would see Lucky Martin at the meeting. He was always nice and polite, very much a gentleman, and always seeking solutions.

For the last couple of months he has fought cancer. He has lived a good life and will missed throughout the Dothan community. Today GOD showed mercy and removed Lucky from all of his pain and suffering.

Lucky, thanks for being my friend. Thanks for what you have done for the Dothan community.
