MADD Concerned Over Proposed Cuts to Alabama State Troopers

Alabama State Troopers are our primary line of defense against drunk driving in Alabama. Alabama State Troopers arrest more drunk drivers than any law enforcement agency in the state. Drunk driving arrest are down in Alabama due to the lack of adequate Trooper staffing. More cuts to the Alabama State Troopers would result in even fewer drunk driving arrest and an increase in drunk driving offenses resulting in more DUI related crashes, injuries and death. Please contact your state representatives and tell them we need more State Troopers not less.
