Madrid Strucuture Fire Fully Engulfed

MADRID: At 2:49 AM Houston County Sheriff 911 Center dispatched a structure fire to 88 Hill Street in Madrid. At the time of the call flames were visible.
Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded to the scene. Madrid Volunteer Fire and Cottonwood Volunteer Fire responded to the scene. Madrid Fire Chief Chan Elliot directed a defensive fire operation in preventing any spread of the fire but the residence was to far gone in order to save the residence.
Matt Boster for RSN serves also as a volunteer fireman. Boster always carries his fire gear in is vehicle and his first order of business is to assist the fireman if needed. At 3:00 AM his assistance was needed and he helped fight the fire.
All fireman on the scene were volunteers.
Cottonwood Rescue was dispatched to the scene. They reported they had a crew but no driver and the call was passed to back up ambulance which was Pilcher's Ambulance.
There was power on the house. At this time the belief is no one was at home but fireman continue to investigate.
Wiregrass Electric was called to the scene to cut utilities to the residence.
