DOTHAN: We have learned via The Meck Report that Dothan City Manager Mike West plans on naming Dothan Police Major Steve Parrish as Dothan Police Chief.
The Meck has learned Major Steve Parrish has been chosen as the final candidate for Dothan Police Chief. The Commission will vote on Steve Parrish for Chief of Police this coming Tuesday April 21, 2015. The vote should be unanimous.

Parrish has been with Dothan Police Department for the past 31 years. For the past 5 years Parrish has served as Major of the Department. The position of Major manages the day to day operations and second in command of the Police Department.
On Tuesday West will present the Commission with Parrish name for the final nod.
