Malvern Woman Arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance

On June 30, 2012 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a roadside investigation. While on routine patrol, an officer noticed a suspicious vehicle behind south-side Kmart. The officer made contact with a man sitting in the passenger seat but noticed items he believed were belongings of a female in the drivers’ seat. The officer further investigated and found the driver, later identified as Paula Peel, hiding in a nearby dumpster. After locating the woman, officers discovered she was in possession of two bags of methamphetamine. Peel was arrested and charged with narcotics bringing the investigation to a close.

 

 

·        Paula Peel, white female, 41 years of age, of Malvern, Alabama was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with a $2,500 bond.
