Man Accused Of Terrorizing Dothan Police Avoids Jail

A man accused of making terror threats toward Dothan police officers pleaded guilty Tuesday to a reduced charge of menacing, a misdemeanor.


Irby Franklin Jordan, 68, was sentenced to six months in jail but Circuit Judge Butch Binford agreed to suspend the term.  In lieu of the jail sentence, Jordan will be on probation for the next two years.  He was fined $500 and pay $225 a victim's restitution fund.
