On June 18th, 2016, Investigators with the Chipley Police Department received information that, Prince Qwalter Leondre Douglas, was believed to be at a home located at 1188 G 1
st Avenue. Douglas was one of two subjects not captured from the Police Department’s recent drug roundup. Douglas had two outstanding warrants for his arrest for Sale of Methamphetamine and another for aggravated battery. Officers arrived at the residence and Douglas attempted to flee through the rear door.
Upon seeing Officers, Douglas fled back into the residence. Officers chased Douglas into the residence and located him hiding in a bedroom closet. Douglas was removed from the closet and taken into custody. Found in the area Douglas was hiding in were several pills and a silver revolver.
The pills were identified as being amphetamine and oxycodone. The revolver was retrieved and at that time it was determined it
was not real.
Douglas was arrested for his outstanding warrants and was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
