Man Charged With DUI Manslaughter

Bay County, Florida: A 1994 Dodge pickup was traveling northbound on the northboundlane of Joan Avenue. The pedestrian was also in the northboound lane, near the east lane edge line of the roadway. The front of the Dodge collided with the pedestrian. The pedestrain, James L. Gladney, 37, of Panama City Beach, Florida was killed in the crash. The driver of the Dodge, William Scott Rhodes, 27, of Panama City, Florida, was arrested and charged with D.U.I. and booked into the Bay County Jail.

 

The driver of the vehicle, William Scott Rhodes, 27, of Panama City, Florida, has been charged with DUI Manslaughter by the Florida Highway Patrol.
