Man Charged with Murder and First Degree Sodomy of his Eight-Year Old Daughter

On December 16, 2014, Hiawatha Robinson, Jr. of Prichard, 38, was arrested by Agents of the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) and charged with murder and first degree sodomy of his eight-year old daughter, Hiawayi Robinson.  Robinson is currently being held in the Mobile Metro Jail.


 


The arrest stems from the ongoing investigation into the death of eight-year old Hiawayi Robinson.  SBI Agents have worked closely with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Mobile County District Attorney Ashley Rich since Hiawayi Robinson was reported missing from her home on September 16, 2014, and her body was discovered two days later. 


 


Federal charges against Robinson are pending.
