Man Charged with Two Counts of Electronic Solicitation of a Child

On Saturday, January 30th a complaint was filed with Dale County Sheriff’s Office that alleged improper contact between a Dale County School teacher and student. Sheriff’s Office Investigators contacted Dale County School administrators and immediately began to investigate the allegation. Based on the evidence investigators charged Scotty Lamar Snell with (2) counts of Electronic Solicitation of a Child. Snell is being held in the Dale County Jail under No Bond.  Based on the evidence we have today we do not believe Snell had any sexual contact with the student but the case is ongoing.
