Man Charged with with 7 counts of Theft of Property

On Monday, April 17, 2017, following a lengthy Investigation, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, with the assistance of the Palm Beach County Florida Sheriff’s Office, arrested 42 year old Yoel Hernandez of West Palm Beach, FL and charged him with 7 counts of Theft of Property 1st Degree.


This Investigation was a result of a report of Theft that occurred in the 7800 Block of Eddins Rd. where property valued at over $400,000 was stolen, including boat motors and other electronic items. Hernandez is believed to be associated with a group of professional thieves from the West Palm Beach / Miami, FL area. Hernandez was placed in the Houston County Jail with no bond.
