Man Critically Injured In Walton County Crash

A 1999 Chevrolet pickup was traveling East on Rayle Road approaching a sharp left curve, one half of a mile West of Williams Road. Due to the truck's speed, the vehicle drove onto the southern shoulder of eastbound Rayle Road. The driver over-corrected, causing the vehicle to lose control. The vehicle then rotated clock-wise and left the roadway, leading with it's driver side while continuing northeast. The driver side of the vehicle then struck a large tree, pinning the driver inside the vehicle. Jason Raymond Thomas, 29, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida was Critically injured in the crash.
