Man Gets Six Years for Robbing a Dothan Bank TWICE

DOTHAN: A man who pleaded guilty to robbing a Dothan bank twice during a single year was sentenced Tuesday to six years in prison.
James Daniel Toothman of Panama City was arrested December 30, 2011 after the second robbery of Regions Bank near Flowers Hospital. He led officers on a 50-mile chase into Bay County before losing control of the getaway van. The vehicle crashed causing serious injury to Toothman. He was accused of first robbing the bank in January, 2011.
