Man Seriously Injured After Hitting Tow Truck In Santa Rosa County

A 2008 Nissan Titan was traveling southbound in the southbound lane of State Road 399 (Navarre Beach Causeway) approaching the intersection of U.S. 98 (SR-30/Navarre Parkway). A 2008 Hino Tow Truck was traveling eastbound in the outside eastbound lane of U.S. 98 (SR-30/Navarre Parkway) approaching the intersection of SR 399 (Navarre Beach Causeway). The front of the Titan struck the right side of the Tow Truck at the intersection. Both vehicles remained at final rest in the roadway prior to the investigator's arrival. At this time it is unclear which vehicle ran the red light at this intersection. Charges are pending the completion of the investigation. The driver of the Nissan Titan, Rickey Endsley, 41, of Cantonment, FL was critically injured in the crash. Endsley was transported to Baptist Hospital.
