Man stabs parents on Thanksgiving

VOLUSIA COUNTY, FL (WKMG/CNN) - Police said a man stabbed his parents during an argument over Thanksgiving dinner. Edwin Daugherty was arrested after deputies responded to the incident on Thursday night.
They said he got into an argument with his mom before taking a steak knife and stabbing both parents. His 76-year-old father, Thomas Daugherty, is in critical condition after being stabbed four times.
His 72-year-old mother, Patsy Daugherty, is listed in serious condition. The incident happened in front of friends and family members who came over for Thanksgiving.
