MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -CrimeStoppers and Prattville police are searching for a suspect wanted for robbing a Papa Johns and then firing at a vehicle near the store this weekend.
According to CrimeStoppers, just before 8 p.m. Saturday a man walked into the Papa Johns on S. Memorial Drive and demanded money. The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and pointed it in the supervisor's face.
The supervisor gave the suspect money from the register, but the suspect became "extremely irritated" when the supervisor couldn't get money out of the safe. The man fled the store and was seen going towards the back parking lot.
The man was wearing a red hat, black shirt, jeans and sunglasses.
Minutes after the robbery, Prattville police responded to the 1000 block of Gipson Street where a man said he was traveling west bound in a Dodge truck with his 4-year-old daughter when they were shot at.
