Man With Gun Taken In Cusotdy At Parking Lot Medical Center Enterprise

ENTERRPISE:   This morning at about 11 AM Enterprise Police had an encounter with a man with a gun.

As people were leaving the Emergency Department Enterprise they heard sirens. Within seconds a vehicle came up in the parking lot and a white male subject exited the vehicle. Enterrpise Police were behind the vehicle with sirens.

Enterprise Police yelled to a lady to get down and remain in her vehicle.

The male subject that exited his vehicle had a weapon. Enterprise Police could be heard CLEARLY - CLEARLY - giving commands to th man wiht the weapon to drop his weapon. After several commands Enterprise Police are reported to have given CLEARLY the command - LAST WARNING - drop your weapon and commands to the lady in the vehicle, not associated with suspect at all - stay down and remain in your vehicle.

Fortunatley to everyone, the supect yielded to the final command by Enterprise Police to drop his weapon. The suspect dropped his weapon and was taken into custody by Enterprise Police.

At this time we do not know why the police were chasing the suspect. But HATS OFF to Enterprise Police. 

As a police officer, you attmept to get the message across plain and blunt. However when the officer gives FINAL WARNING - folks final means FINAL. And the decisions are made in seconds that people have hours and decades to analyze. In this situation, as with all, the suspect decides the outcome. Just glad the suspect decided the best outcoe in this situation!
