LEE COUNTY, AL (WSFA) -The Lee County Sheriff's Office is currently searching for a suspect who is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Deputies received a call before 11 a.m. on Tuesday that Matthew Bruce Page, 25, was at a residence on Lee County Road 208, which is also known as Cofield Drive.

Page reportedly has an outstanding warrant for shooting into an occupied dwelling back on April 27 in the Smiths Station community.

Page had also reportedly made statements that he would shoot any law enforcement officers who attempted to arrest him or take him into custody.

On Tuesday, three deputies went to the residence on C.R. 208 to find Page. When they arrived, they spotted the man inside a vehicle. He was armed with a handgun.
