Marianna Fl Has Assistant Fire Chief But Dothan Does Not

I just ran across this article and laughed. That is the purpose of posting it.

Marianna Florida, land wise, is a small city. They have a Assistant Fire Chief. Dothan Alabama does not have an Assistant Fire Chief.

Now I am not trying to get Dothan an Assistant Fire Chief. I do know we had a position for one and our all knowing and wise City Manager would allow one to be hired.

I thought it was funny at the size of Marianna Florida compared to Dothan they have an Assistant Fire Chief but Dothan does not.

MARIANNA FL:  The new assistant fire chief was introduced to the Marianna City Commission at its regular meeting on Tuesday.

Scott Birge, who was the fire chief for the Immokalee Fire Control and Rescue, moved to Graceville about a year ago.
