Marianna Man Charged with Aggravated Child Abuse by Malicious Punishment

On 09/21/2015 Officers of the Marianna Police Department responded to the Jackson ER in reference to a child abuse complaint. Upon arrival, Officers learned that the child was brought to the ER after the mother found bruises on him. Upon observation, the child did have multiple injuries to his body.
During the course of the investigation, Anthony Holden, was identified as the perpetrator. On 09/22/2015 a warrant was issued for Holden’s arrest. On 09/23/2015 Holden turned himself into police and was arrested without incident. He was booked into the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance. The investigation is still ongoing with the Marianna Police Department and Department of Children and Families.
