Marianna Police Needs Your Help

On December 4th, 2014 at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to the area of 6th Ave and College Street in reference to several gunshots being heard in the area. Once on scene Officers were able to locate several spent shell casings in the roadway. Officers were made aware by independent witnesses that two vehicles had left the area driving at a high rate of speed shortly after the shots were heard. Officers were able to locate one of the vehicles involved and have also identified a potential victim in this case. This case is still under investigation. Anyone with any information in regard to this case is asked to please notify the Marianna Police Department at 526-3125 or Crimestoppers at 526-5000.
